THE EXPERIENCE 

Derica Cole Washington has developed a career in the arts as an emerging costume designer and consultant based in New York City. Her multi-media experience spans film, television, web series, commercials and music videos.

Not wedded to any particular genre, style or era, Derica has worked on period, contemporary, and sci-fi, she maintains designing the costume is all about understanding the story and the character. 

Derica splits her time between New York and Los Angeles and is a member of  Costume Designers Guild Local 892 and United Scenic Artists Local 829.
